On 16 February 2026, Ryan Bosch completed the LAMGAT 1610 — a long-distance ride that recognises exceptional endurance, planning, and composure on the road. On a Harley-Davidson Street Glide CVO (121 cu in), joined by his wife Jacqui Bosch on her own Harley-Davidson, they completed 1,614 km in 15 hours 51 minutes, finishing well inside the 24-hour endurance window. Route: Pomona (Gauteng) → Harrismith → Winburg → Trompsburg → Richmond → Beaufort West → Touws River → Cape Town (N1 City)

On 16 February 2026, Jacqui Bosch completed the LAMGAT 1610 — a long-distance ride that recognises exceptional endurance, planning, and composure on the road.  On a Harley-Davidson Low Rider ST Fast Johnny (with amazing sound!), joined by her husband Ryan on his own Harley-Davidson, they completed 1,614 km in 15 hours 51 minutes, finishing well inside the 24-hour endurance window.  Route: Pomona (Gauteng) → Harrismith → Winburg → Trompsburg → Richmond → Beaufort West → Touws River → Cape Town (N1 City)

At age 68 did a 1610K Lamgat ride on a BMW GS 1200.  He did a total of 1,694 demanding kilometres in less than twenty-four hours starting in Panorama, Cape Town, riding to Citrusdal and Bitterfontein, continuing onto Springbok, Pofadder and turning around at Kakamas in the Northern Cape, following the same route back – arriving back in Panorama just after 11pm, a total of 19 hours.

At age 67 did a 1610K AND 2500K Lamgat ride on a Harley Davidson Ultra CVO. He did a total of 2,624 arduous kilometres in less than thirty six hours starting in Randburg, Gauteng riding to Kimberley continuing onto Bloemfontein, Cradock, Gqeberha, Plettenberg Bay before spending the night in George. Early next morning he saddled up and rode via Oudshoorn, Beaufort West, Worcester, Swellendam to finally stop at BotRivier – 2,624 km done!
Stan did the whole trip alone as a solo rider.

did a 1610K Lamgat ride on a Harley Davidson Road King 103.  He did a total of 1754 demanding kilometres in less than twenty-four hours starting in Benoni continuing onto Bloemfontein, turning at Colesberg to Uniondale onwards to Montague, Wolseley, Piketberg before arriving in Saldanha Bay in time for the West Coast Harley Days 2023 Rally.

Cobus completed the trip with fellow ROC H.O.G. members Gerrie & Melanie Bezuidenhout and Marinda Maartens.

did a 1610K Lamgat ride on a Harley Davidson Ultra Limited 114.  They did a total of 1754 demanding kilometres in less than twenty-four hours starting in Benoni continuing onto Bloemfontein, turning at Colesberg to Uniondale onwards to Montague, Wolseley, Piketberg before arriving in Saldanha Bay in time for the West Coast Harley Days 2023 Rally.

Gerrie and Melanie completed the trip with fellow ROC H.O.G. members Marinda Maartens and Cobus van Zyl.
